Energy, Get the Facts So You Can Teach It

For teachers in grades 3-9 who need to develop content knowledge on Energy, NSTA's short course, an online venue, offers asynchronous learning with live web sessions led by expert Don Boonstra, a professional development guru with more than 30 years of experience teaching physical science concepts. Science teachers can take advantage of a virtual classroom, ask questions of the instructor, share in weekly discussions posted on the course listserv, and complete course materials at their own pace offline. The cost of the course is $322.50 for NSTA members and $367.00 for non members. Two graduate credits can be earned through the University of Idaho for an additional fee. Classes meet on five consecutive Tuesdays from 8:00-9:30 p.m. Eastern time, starting September 30. For more details and to register, visit the NSTA Learning Center.
