Plant a Tree and Help Baltimore
In support of Baltimore’s mission to double its tree canopy, the Jones Falls Watershed Association (JFWA) is offering 300 FREE trees to public and private schools in the Jones Falls Watershed. We will purchase, deliver, and assist with coordinating a planting event with your students, completely free of charge, during the Spring and Fall of 2007. A wide range of Maryland native species are available; JFWA’s staff can help to evaluate your schoolyard to determine the appropriate location, number and type of trees that will thrive in your habitat.
Trees and planting dates can be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Don’t miss this unique opportunity reap the benefits that trees provide and to get your student’s involved in environmental projects.
